I tried a few different insoles, and the ones that worked best for me had a deep heel cup and a sturdy arch. They gave my foot the stability it needed. And while insoles are great, make sure your shoes aren't worn out. Even the best insole won't help if your shoes are shot. Keep us posted on what you end up trying!  ;D

Hi OP! I had plantar fasciitis last year, and what really helped me were insoles with both arch and heel support. I also started wearing compression socks, which provided additional support and reduced swelling. They might seem tight at first, but they really do help with circulation and pain. Also, don't underestimate the power of a good foot massage—whether it's from a professional or using a massage roller. Sometimes, it's the little things that add up to big relief. Hope you find what works for you!

I've found that combining insole use with physical therapy is best. Insoles alone might not solve the issue, but when you also strengthen your foot and ankle muscles, it can provide long-term relief. Remember, the plantar fascia needs proper support and reduced tension, which insoles can help with, but muscle strengthening is equally important. Good luck!

Gotta love these "expert" tips. 🙄 OP, don't waste your money on fancy insoles. Just get yourself a pair of thick socks and call it a day. Or, you know, maybe invest in some hover shoes so you never have to touch the ground again. Problem solved! 😂

Hey OP! Sorry to hear about your struggle. I haven't had plantar fasciitis myself, but my dad did. He swore by insoles that had extra heel cushioning. He said they worked wonders for him, especially when combined with wearing supportive shoes. Oh, and he also used to do these weird stretching routines every morning and evening. Something about pulling his toes back and massaging the bottom of his feet. It looked kind of silly, but he claimed it helped a lot. Hope you find relief soon!  8)

Oh man, plantar fasciitis? Been there, done that. 🙄 Honestly, I tried like a million insoles, and most of them were just snake oil. The so-called "custom" ones cost an arm and a leg and didn't help at all. What actually worked for me was just going barefoot as much as possible and strengthening my foot muscles. Yeah, I know it sounds old-school, but sometimes simpler is better. And if anyone tries to sell you magic beans for your feet, just walk away—literally. 😏

My two cents: I had plantar fasciitis quite bad a while back, and something that really helped was night splints. They keep your foot flexed while you sleep, which helps stretch the plantar fascia. It's not the most comfortable thing in the world, but it made mornings much less painful. Recovery took a few months, but it was worth it to get back to my morning jogs.

Mate, I can relate! I had the same issue a couple of years ago after pushing myself too much when out running. I'm a bit skeptical about insoles, but what really worked for me was physical therapy. I worked with a therapist who specialized in sports injuries and they gave me a tailored stretching and strengthening program. It took about three months, but I was back to running without any pain.

Morning all,

I can vouch for what greg said. Those Footreviver insoles did wonders for my feet too. But dont forget the importance of a good pair of shoes. Sometimes the problem isn't just the insoles but the footwear you're using. I ditched my old trainers and invested in a pair of proper walking shoes with good arch support. Made a world of difference!

I suffered from it for about a year before finding a solution. Orthotic insoles really helped. I tried a few brands, but the Footreviver Arch Support insoles from NuovaHealth were the best. They provided excellent support, and I felt a difference within a week. The pain subsided significantly, and now I wear them regularly to prevent a recurrence.

Also, don't underestimate the power of consistent stretching. Have you tried rolling a frozen water bottle under your foot? It sounds silly, but it helps with inflammation. Good luck!
