Hey everyone, just wanted to spark a discussion about something I've been pondering. Is it just me or does the entertainment industry seem to be on a downward spiral? It seems like we're drowning in garbage content. It's like creativity took a backseat and all we're left with is this mass-produced, agenda-driven, woke nonsense. What's your take on this?

Mathew

🙌 Absolutely agree! It feels like the soul of our entertainment is gone. It's like every song, movie, show, you name it, is cut from the same cloth. It's all about ticking boxes rather than risk-taking and innovative storytelling. The passion seems to be missing.

Dom

🤔 Interesting point. I agree, I think it's more of a societal issue. We live in an era where 'wokeness' is the trend. It's not about the quality of content anymore, but how many societal issues you can cram into a single piece. It's frustrating.

tech_wiz

Exactly! These big corporations are more worried about pushing their agendas than promoting actual creativity. There are great artists out there, but their work gets buried under this mainstream, agenda-driven garbage.

Joe1993

I think it's a sad reflection of the world we live in. The focus has shifted from creating art for art's sake to using art as a medium for pushing agendas. The result? An entertainment industry that's become monotonous and uninspiring.

JamesH

The giants in the industry are so paranoid about causing offence that they've started to censor creativity. This is a dangerous precedent.

AndyP

Spot on! It's like creative industries aren't creative anymore. It's all about pushing a narrative rather than creating something truly unique and inspiring. It's a sad time for art.

Jack

It's such a shame really. I miss the days when art was about self-expression and not about how many societal checkboxes you can tick.

Joe1993

Thanks for all your insights. It's good to know I'm not the only one feeling this way. Let's hope for a change soon, where creativity is allowed to flourish once again.

susan

I completely agree with you! It's the same old same old all the time. It's like they've run out of ideas, and it's just remakes and sequels.

toryboy

I disagree. I think there's plenty of fresh, innovative content out there. You just need to know where to look.

Where to look?? Are you serious? We are forced to consume the same recycled trash for years now.

I wouldn't say "forced." You have a choice about what to watch or listen to. Just because you're not a fan of mainstream content doesn't mean it's all bad.

Sorry, but you couldn't be more wrong. The industry is just pushing their agenda and narratives, and we're the victims.

toryboy

Don't play the victim here, mate, that's just an excuse not to search for more diverse content.
